I recently reminded myself that my justification for having a website devoted strictly to myself was that I would one day be able to read it and remember fondly my adventures in—what sociologists call—The Land That Normality Forgot. This means that I should probably document my experiences as they arise before venturing on longwinded diatribes about—what the Brits call—sweet f*** all. With this in mind, I should probably mention two experiences before they are forcefully supplanted by psyche-scarring images of Japanese people inhaling fish ovary loaded, hot, salty, pudding. The first matter is my four day excursion to the Kansai region. The second is my day at the Sumo tournament, which, as of writing this sentence, I have not attended, but by the time that this is posted I will have…this hopefully gives you an idea of the tiPortfolio thumbme it takes me to actually get these things up and posted. And to remind you one last time of how difficult my life is, I am still enmeshed in the time-consuming and expensive process of producing my portfolio and applying to architecture school. In fact, I will have the portfolio online for your viewing [dis]pleasure soon enough.

I will now describe to you my four day trip to Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, Nara, ad tedium…enjoy!
