That’s it. This is my last post from Japan for a long time–possibly ever. It’s been…an experience. I would love to give you some kind of neat wrap up of the whole damn shebang, something reeeeally concise and witty…something that would give the reader the feeling that he/she/it has accompanied me on a journey through an inane land and a slowly crumbling mind. Something that would make the reader exclaim to himself/herself/itself with a hearty sigh, “It truly is…the end of an era.” At this point, you, the reader, would give a quick head nod with one of those sharp, but silent, “well…,” put on your fedora, and head off into your new life, vowing to beat the memories of what you’ve read on this site out of your head if the alcohol fails to eradicate them first.

Buuuut I’m not so good with that. So, you are left with another post of me telling you how exhausted I am and making empty promises of things to come. All I can say at this point is that I appreciate your readership. I don’t know why you keep coming back but I would have given up much earlier had you not. And as they say “if you clap, Tinkerbell will live,” or “if you show them, he will come,” if you push, me via comment or email, to pay attention to this site…I will.
